Catching our Limits!

We just ended our ocean salmon season off the Columbia river on Sunday August 12th. As a Columbia River and Buoy 10 fishing guide, I am looking forward to a fun and exciting Buoy 10 guide season with the huge number of fish in the ocean. Fishing was flat out off the charts as we saw fast and furious action. On most days we had 50 to 75 chances and landed 30 plus fish every day to catch our limits. There were many native coho and small kings that were let go.

Now that we are into our Buoy 10 guide season we will start to see more fish enter the Columbia River every tide series as the month of August continues. My fellow Buoy 10 fishing guide colleagues and I anticipate another fun year with kings and coho salmon. Above are some pictures from the ocean season off the Columbia River.
